First-tier Tribunal (SEND) representation for families, schools and other parties. Drafting, case management and full hearing advocacy, delivered personally by Elizabeth Okinda.

In Scope

  • Drafting of grounds of appeal against EHCP refusal, content, placement, ceasing, and disability discrimination claims.
  • Witness preparation including for parents, SENCOs, educational psychologists, and therapy providers.
  • Bundle preparation and case management correspondence.
  • Full hearing advocacy in the First-tier Tribunal (SEND).
  • Strategic advice on settlement, mediation and consent.

Out of Scope

  • Judicial review of SEND Tribunal decisions as solicitor on the record (drafting and strategy support is offered separately under Judicial Review Drafting & Strategy).
  • Conduct of Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman complaints as solicitor on the record (advisory and drafting only).

  • Fixed-fee package for full SEND appeal (drafting, case management, hearing).
  • Day rate for hearing advocacy where the case has been built by another firm.
  • Half-day strategy consultation for parents at decision point.
